In all directions find oneself restricted
It’ll be just like the days of school
You’re wrapped up in a logic most twisted
Arguing with him is the way of the fool
You won’t match his technical expertise
Establish ground rules before we begin
It’s you he’s going to desist and cease
But the realization will soon set in
Opposing a rules lawyer in his court
Your briefs and motions are pre-overruled
Summarily judged and time served not short
Take your wits back to shop to get retooled
He will lock pick every gatekeeping nerd
Donatello’s best weapon is your own words
Donatello wants to rules lawyer everything to a grinding halt and deflate his opponents by logically proving them wrong with his most vicious weapon: their own, albeit twisted, words. Donny wants to create an environment where his genius is proven beyond doubt, reasonable or otherwise. In doing so, he won’t resort to face-punching and will instead point out that the fact that you even considered it shows a lack of intellectual rigor on your part. Donny turns every exchange of words into a sparring match that ends only in submission. Does he really not find this exhausting? Has he not considered that even if he doesn’t, others might? If he forces submission from all opponents then shouldn’t he expect his opponents to eventually give up on him?
