Always twirling about seems moronic
It takes some time to realize the ruse
You’ve been stunned by a wit most sardonic
Joust with a jester and you’re destined to lose
Don’t take so lightly the impact on troops
When they’re the last to learn the lesson
And spotlighted as gullible goofs
To keep such as their final confession
Cheat the cap and bells as if T’were one’s own
But soon find plagiarizing sarcasm
Won’t return those lost to the comfort zone
Chucks spinning like he’s having a spasm
Works so hard to nonchalantly defeat ya
Michelangelo just wants some pizza
Michelangelo wants to eat all the pizza in the world and wants to insult all the bad guys to their face. He thinly veils his acerbic barbs by calling it “sarcasm” and protesting that you’re overreacting to something that’s “clearly just jokes, dude”. Mikey is not above face-punching as a last resort but doing so without getting the verbal better of you rings a hollow victory to him. Sure Mikey gets laughter out of his quick-witted, mean-spirited quips, but has he ever considered the cost of alienating himself from even more opportunities for hijinks and hilarity? Has he never wondered if the laughter is motivated by the need to appease since he’s made it clear that he’s “just joking, yo”.
